Cricket Team: An example of Leadershi

Captain is the main leader for the team. He makes the strategy in ground such as type of formation and placement of specific players at specific positions because it really matters. If we think in other sports like football in which Coach plays an important role to make strategy and all the player follow his order but Cricket is a totally different thing, In the case of cricket there is hardly any specific strategy method expected. Aside from bowling adjust along with fielding place there is hardly a little opportunity. In addition the effect of these things is not since great on result. These types of changes are made by captain.

Inspiring:

Captain is always inspiring his every over even every single ball. He motivates his team in hard time to make them feel positive and that is why they can come back to game by full strength. He makes sure that the team stays positive and focused. In situations where team wins the match, he motivates them to continue hard work and strive for improvement. Similarly when the team loses, he encourages the team and cheer them up in order to concentrate on the matches that would happen in future.

Honesty:

Honesty matters in every single game. He happens with cricket too, captain has to play fair. He has to have a commitment with his team and country. The efforts put in by a captain must be solely directed towards the win of the team. Honesty in his play makes a captain more trustworthy and team members feel free to look upon in case of unexpected situations. He is supportive in his conduct and makes sure that everyone is treated fairly in his team.

Creative:

Captain is so creative in ground, he always change the position of player in the ground and when team is bowling or batting he always shuffle them according to game. He makes new strategies and policies in order to experiment and find out the most appropriate one for succeeding. The more creative he is the more number of ways he invents to do a thing which brings in efficiency and effectiveness.
